Sales are important, but don't get overwhelmed with them. Here are some of my adult stories' sales over the last 90 days, and you'll notice one important thing-- on the average, they're doing well.  Setting up unrealistic goals, such as selling 50 stories a day, does nothing but set you up for disappointment.  Be content with "this 90 day period I'm selling more than the last one."  It not only avoids disappointment, but it also puts far more control in your hands rather than hoping for some out of left field windfall.
